Seal Bros respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through sealbros.ca and our customer communications, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

• service address;
• approximate driveway size and condition;
• information about cracks, previous sealing, access, timing, or neighbouring properties interested in a Street Day;
• photos or other information you choose to send us; and
• records of our communications and service history.

Our website hosting provider may also process basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, and server logs.

2. Why we use your information

We use personal information for purposes that include:

• responding to quote requests and questions;
• measuring, estimating, scheduling, and providing driveway services;
• contacting you about the quote or service you requested;
• processing and maintaining customer records;

3. Quote requests are not automatic marketing sign-ups

Submitting a quote request allows Seal Bros to contact you about that quote or related service request. We do not treat a quote request as blanket permission to send unrelated promotional email or text messages. If we introduce optional marketing messages, we will use an appropriate consent process and provide a way to unsubscribe.

4. Consent

We seek consent appropriate to the information and purpose involved. You may withdraw consent for optional uses of your information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide a requested service where the information is necessary to do so.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate our website or business, such as website hosting, form processing, email, accounting, payment, scheduling, analytics, advertising, or professional advisers, where those services are used.

Our website is currently prepared for hosting and form processing through Netlify. Service providers may process or store information in Canada or other jurisdictions, and information may therefore be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

We may also disclose information where required or permitted by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a legitimate business transaction such as a sale or reorganization.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate business and service records, or to meet legal, accounting, tax, insurance, dispute-resolution, or security requirements. We then delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it as appropriate.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

At the time this policy was prepared, the Seal Bros launch site does not intentionally include third-party advertising or analytics tracking scripts. Our hosting provider may use technical mechanisms necessary to deliver, secure, and operate the site.

If we later add analytics, advertising pixels, remarketing tools, or other non-essential tracking technologies, we will update this policy and any consent controls that are appropriate before using them.

10. Photos and project images

If we would like to use customer-submitted photos, identifiable property photos, testimonials, or project information for advertising or promotional purposes beyond what is reasonably expected from providing the service, we will seek appropriate permission where required.

We may update this policy as our website, services, tools, or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted at sealbros.ca/privacy.html with its effective date.
